Although none are pictured here, the Oak Level Volunteer Fire Department Support Team was formally known as the "Women's Support Group", but changed it's name a few years ago due to the addition of some male members. Although the Support Team and the Oak Level Volunteer Fire Department work very closely together, we are actually two separate organizations. Some people are members of both organizations, while some belong to only one. The support team holds fundraisers to help out organizations other than the Oak Level Volunteer Fire Department, but makes a large donation to the department each year. Their donation to the Oak Level Volunteer Fire Department has exceeded $10,000 some years. The Support Team usually make it's donation to the department at the annual department Christmas dinner. The fire department would have a very tough time surviving without them!
